Holiday Essentials || July Favourites

So I recently got back from the beautiful Paphos in Cyprus where I had the most amazing holiday ever! Ah it was so beautiful. But whilst I was away I thought of doing a mix between a sort of 'Holiday Must-Haves' and a July Faves because I haven't posted in SO long!

So these are the products which I have been absolutely loving whilst on holiday/in July!

First we have the Superdrug Solait Maxi Bronzer in Golden Glow.

It's basically a huge bronzing powder which I use to contour. I was initially drawn to this bronzer as it is matte and has no shimmer which is what I wanted, to get a more natural look. But I love this product because it works well, stays on for a long time, and because it is a Superdrug own brand, it's really cheap!

Next we have Batiste Dry Shampoo in the scent Tropical.

I've been using Batiste dry shampoo for ages and thought I would try the tropical scent for holiday, and whilst it isn't my favourite smell (it's very coconutty), I'd still highly recommend dry shampoo to anyone as its so easy to use and has such great effects.

Next is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer.
I decided to get this concealer after much hype from the beauty YouTubers and I'm so glad I did! It's so creamy and doesn't crease during the day, and also gives such great coverage and is definitely going to be a must have product from now on.

Then we have the Avon Nailwear Pro+ nail varnish in the shade Coral Reef.

I wore this colour everyday whilst on holiday purely because its such a great, bright, summery colour. Even though it didn't necessarily last for ages, the colour certainly makes up for any negatives. It is just a nearly neon coral which is just perfect for summer!

Next is the Loreal Studio Matt & Messy Salt Spray.

This is such a good pick me up during the day when your hair is looking a bit limp. It says to use it on damp hair but using it on dry hair also gives a nice tousled look.

Lastly isn't a beauty favourite, but an author that I read non-stop by the pool, and that is Dan Brown.

He wrote the book which was turned into the film 'The Davinci Code', and he basically writes sci-fi, mystery, thriller novels. I think the reason that I like these books so much is that something happens on one page, and then there's a twist on the next, and you just can't put them down. They aren't what I'd call a 'light' read, but they are te sort of book that you really get into and start to wonder if it could happen in real life. So yeah loving these books at the moment!

Thank you for reading, even though its been a bit of a mosh mash post between Holiday and July Faves, I promise to start posting more regularly from now on!

Airport/Duty Free Haul!

Hey guys!
I've just got back from holiday to the beautiful Pathos in Cyprus which is why there hasn't been a post in a while, but I thought I would start back with a haul about the things I bought from the duty free area of the airport.

Ok so the first two items I got whilst actually in the airport, the first being MAC Glaze Lipstick in the shade Hue.

I was so excited to get this because it is my first ever MAC Lipstick! The colour is a very pale pinky-nude shade which I first about about from a Tanya Burr video, and I got it so that I could wear it quite often as its a very neutral shade. But yeah so far I love it so much because it's so soft and moisturising and I my MAC Lipstick obsession has begun!

Next I came across an OPI stand and I literally had to get a nail varnish so I bought the OPI Nail Laquer in Feelin' Hot-Hot-Hot.

Firstly I'd like to say well done to whoever comes up with the names for all of the colours because I was stood there in the airport just reading them and laughing. But anyway I got this colour purely because I thought it was very summery and bright, and I know that OPI varnishes last a long time, so I have no doubt ill love this.

Next there was the duty free trolley on the plane which had different and exclusive items to the travel company. The first thing I got was the Bourjois Make-Up Kit Everyday Chic

Ok, so this is basically a make up set which contains different items to create a look. This particular set contains the Effet 3D Lip Gloss in the shade 01 Beige Elastic, and this is a really nice nude-shimmery gloss that is supposed to last for 8 hours. I've tried it a few times and it tastes really nice, and I also think it will go well with the MAC Lipstick.
Then there is a Khol & Contour Pencil which is such a good idea. It has two pencik ends, one a 'shadow' end for water lines etc. and the second is the 'light' end which has an illuminator for under the brows and highlighting.
Next is the Smoky Eyes Eyeshadow Trio which is a little palette of a black, dark brown and light nude eyeshadow which can be used together to create a subtle smoky eye. I love these eyeshadows because they are really smooth and apply well to the lid.
And lastly is the Ultra Shine Nail Enamel in the colour 28 Rose Lounge. It's a baby/pastel pink shade which is very nice on tanned hands and really, quite an all year round colour.
So yeah this whole kit is very useful since its and everyday look that can be achieved using these products which I think is so great.

Lastly I got the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Now I've heard lots of beauty YouTubers absolutely raving about this palette and so couldn't resist buying it! It has a mixture of different nude to brown shades which all obviously go really nicely together, but I've yet to try many looks so I will maybe do another post with my favourite combinations. But yeah so far, this palette looks very nice and I'm very excited to use it!
